ANALISIS MODEL PILIHAN KARIR PROFESIONAL SEBAGAI KONSULTAN KEUANGAN (Studi Empiris Pada Mahasiswa di PTS Surakarta)
Abstrak
Konsultan keuangan tidak hanya dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan besar saja UKM juga sangat terbantu dengan adanya konsultan keuangan. Konsultan keuangan dapat membantu menyiapkan UKM mengelola keuangan dan memberikan bantuan teknis dalam memperoleh kredit perbankan atau mengembangkan usahanya. Namun pada kenyataannya minat seseorang untuk terjun ke dunia profesional sebagai seorang konsultan keuangan masih rendah. Dengan jumlah industri yang cukup besar di Indonesia diharapkan jumlah konsultan keuangan memadai untuk membantu industri yang ada menjaga eksistensinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji self efficacy, harapan hasil, minat karir professional terhadap pilihan karir professional sebagai konsultan keuangan. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa program studi manajemen PTS Surakarta. Sampel sebanyak 151 mahasiswa digunakan untuk analisis dengan teknik analisis Structural Equation Model dan dibantu dengan software AMOS 22. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy dan harapan hasil memiliki pengaruh positif pada pilihan karir mahasiswa sebagai konsultan keuangan. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa minat karir professional berperan sebagai mediasi pengaruh self efficacy terhadap pilihan karir karir sebagai konsultan keuangan namun minat karir professional tidak mampu berperan sebagai mediasi pengaruh harapan hasil terhadap pilihan karir professional.
